The 52nd annual congress of Lutte Ouvrière, which was held on December 3 and 4 in the Paris region, was largely devoted to the international situation, the brutal aggravation of the crisis of the capitalist economy and the threats of a generalized war. The four texts that follow were among those adopted by the congress: “Crisis, War and Changes in the Balance of Power”, “The War in Ukraine, a Major Step in the Escalation toward a Third World War”, “Resolution on the War in Ukraine”, and “Combativity of the Masses and Revolutionary Leadership”. We reprint these texts here because the situation they describe is the one which the working class in the United States faces today.
