The recent hot weather has been brutal. Temperatures inside Caterpillar’s EMD plant were 120° in many departments. Why isn’t there air conditioning at EMD? Buildings like the United Center and large malls are air conditioned.
Caterpillar, which owns EMD, could easily afford to put it in. Don’t tell us there’s no money for it. Caterpillar made one billion dollars in profits in just three months, April - June.
