This movie is unlike others. It is an ode to blues and its importance to Black Mississippi Delta culture and at the same time shows the timelessness and power of expression. It shows the diversity and strength of the Delta Southern culture in the face of evil both real and surreal. It shows the power of love and family. Nothing in the film is there to fill space. The cinematography and acting are uniquely placed and convey layers of meaning. It really cannot be described, go and see it today.
